

Kate Perdoni is a southern Colorado-based rock musician, artist, and 5x Emmy-nominated multimedia journalist and documentary filmmaker. Kate has been a television host, producer, director, videographer, writer, and editor with Rocky Mountain PBS since 2014, and has been a reporter and director in public media and freelance journalist for almost 20 years.
Born in New Jersey and raised in Bucks County and on a farm in rural Minnesota, Kate has served as Executive Director of the Pikes Peak Arts Council, Vice Chair of the City of Colorado Springs Public Art Commission, and on Advisory Council to the Youth Documentary Academy, and was named a 2017 Colorado Springs Business Journal Rising Star, received the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts’ 2018 EY Next Wave Leadership Award, and was the recipient of the 2020 Arts Business Education Cultural Heritage Education Award. Kate has also been honored by the Colorado Broadcasters Association and the Society for Professional Journalists. Amidst a long sub-career as a recording and touring artist, Kate signed to Bar/None Records in 2013.
